Our specialist Collections team have acted for utility collection clients for a number of years delivering non legal collections services. They now focus on recovering the full range of commercial utility supply debt. Given the extent of supply work we deal with the team have experience in dealing with the full range of customer types from small commercial clients such as sole traders, to large national and multi-national organisations who operate across multiple sites with extremely complex utility provisions.

The team also deal with high value residential supply cases which can often present complexity and challenges which require a similar investigatory approach required by commercial debt supply.

One of the core advantages of our collections team is their ability to tackle the payment obstacles in order to secure recoveries.

Our officers have built up not only expertise in collections techniques but also a keen understanding of the challenges and structures of the customers we are seeking to recover from. The team regularly deal with the difficulties which arise from both change of occupier and change of tenancy cases. Along with cases where customers are seeking or have changed supplier and are seeking to dispute accrued arrears.

The Collections Team have access to a range of trace tools and officers are provided with dedicated training on how to effectively conduct traces which is critical for the trace and collect work we do. The extensive experience the officers have obtained, and the ongoing training delivered ensures they can respond to the increasing need to trace occupiers and customers who have moved location.
