Another year, another 10k London Legal Walk for Judge & Priestley

Team Judge & Priestley were excited to participate in the annual 10km London Legal Walk on the 21 May 2018.

This charity event features a sponsored 10km walk in and around the city of London, to raise money for legal advice services in the London and South East region. There are many people unable to access justice due to increased poverty, reduced support services, continuing budget cuts and court closures.

Last year, 12,000 people took part, raising around £800,000 and we hope that great figure will be exceeded this year, when the final total is announced.

Around 20 staff from Judge & Priestley took part, accompanied by the team mascot, Partner Louise Hyland’s dog Hugo. The walk was especially enjoyable given the warm and sunny weather on the evening.

Judge & Priestley Partner, Louise Hyland, commented “I was delighted to join the Judge and Priestley Team, which returned to do the Legal Walk for another year. The London Legal Support Trust funds law centres and legal advice agencies in London and the South East, to ensure access to justice is equally available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Judge and Priestley are always more than happy to get involved and help to give something back where we can, and this was a perfect opportunity to do so. A huge thank you to everyone who took part!”

With fund matching from Judge and Priestley LLP, Team Judge and Priestley are on target to raise about £350, but there is still plenty of time to make a donation here.

Team Judge & Priestley would like to thank everyone who has made a donation for their generosity and support.
