Brendan joined J&P Credit Solutions in May 2016 as a Trainee Solicitor and is now a qualified Solicitor.
Before gaining his traning contract at J&P Credit Solutions, Brendan worked as a project finance paralegal for three years in the City at an American corporate law firm. He also worked in the commercial litigation department of a leading West London firm.
Prior to that, Brendan studied History at the University of Manchester where he graduated with a First Class BA (Hons). He then studied for his Master’s degree in History of International Relations at the London School of Economics where he was awarded a Merit. Following this, Brendan went on to study the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Bloomsbury where he was awarded a Commendation and Distinction, respectively.
Brendan currently acts for a range of clients dealing with the recovery of a wide range of high value debt types and with complex commercial disputes.
Recent work/ updates
Brendan has taken leadership and responsibility on a large number of litigation and debt recovery work for individuals, local government authorities and businesses. He has worked closely with clients and leading Counsel to obtain successful outcomes in relation to various complex commercial litigation matters, at case management conferences, costs hearings and trials.
Brendan recently obtained a successful judgment for a client in relation to a complex petition for an Insolvency Administration Order at the High Court, which was contested by the executor of the estate on grounds of jurisdiction; judgment reported, London Borough of Brent v Estate of Leanora Francis  BPIR 451.
Brendan is currently a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Outside of Work
Brendan enjoys enjoy travelling, the theatre, art and running in his spare time.
